Epoxy floor installation
1. Test the hardness of the concrete and take moisture readings. This enables us to use the correct products and methods for the best possible outcome.
2. Grind the Floor: This process removes the top layer of concrete, opens up the pores, and creates a rough surface for the epoxy to adhere to.
3.Β Edges and Corners: Use a handheld grinder to reach edges and corners that the floor grinder cannot access.
4. Repair the Surface: Use a concrete patching compound to fill any cracks or holes. Allow the compound to cure completely. Sand the repaired areas smooth if necessary.
5. Vacuum the Dust: After grinding, thoroughly vacuum the entire floor to remove all dust and debris. A clean surface is crucial for the epoxy to bond properly.
6. Apply the epoxy base coat.
7.Β Add epoxy flakes until you completely saturate the floor.
8. Apply polyaspartic top coat to owners specifications
